Hail From the Land of Wonder

This weekend has been incredible. First of all, I wrote the coolest rap track out there. You guys have to listen to it. I'll try to publish it on the web so that it's generally available to anyone who wants it. It took me about...10 hours to do, but if you count the 15 or so hours that I spent fruitlessly trying to get past my writers block, it took about the whole weekend.

So, now you know about how much physical activity I got this weekend! On Friday, as I was running, I saw the coolest snake. It was standing right in my way as I ran down the sidewalk. It is as if God wants me to experience everything about Utah there is before I go back to Hawaii.

Also on Friday I got stung by my first bee! Yipee. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. So now I don't have to be afraid of the little buggers. It was funny. I was on the phone with someone long distance, and right when I said "hello" I got stung. It was like:

"Hello. Is xxxx there? Oh my gosh, I just got stung by a bee, I'll have to call you back."

So, we've got the snake and the bee thing going on. Also, I've been able to enjoy the spaciousness of my house here before going back to my shoebox in Hawaii. 6 more days.

Now, I'm at work for my final week. It's so strange to know that you are going to be halfway across the globe in less than a week. I'll probably never see these people again (sniffle).

So, lastly, I hung out with a couple girls this weekend. One of them is named Ami Allen and we have been friends since high school. It was fun. We went to Olive Garden and watched Ice Age. That's a funny movie. The second was Monica Nelson from Hawaii. Her dad was a prof there and she lived on Iosepha. We had fun. We mostly drove around and listened to cool tunes. We took a stroll through the park and got some Dairy Queen ice cream. That was a treat to her as there are only about 2 dairy queens on the whole island of Oahu.

Anyhow, good weekend, and a good week to come. I'll keep you all informed of what happens. Peace out.

-Dave

Well Dave, I don't know if I can swing a ride for you. Sorry... in fact, Sarah was the one that worked out a ride for Sarah. Tell me when and where on my blog, and I'll talk to Reed and see if he has that night off. Otherwise... sorry :(.
