The Walk
Today I was bored so I walked to the local Smith's grocery store. It is about 2 miles away. It took me about 40 minutes to walk there. Then, I got a free pop from a lady handing out samples. It was pretty good. It was that new 7-up "Plus" with no calories. And, it even has calcium in it! You can't get better than that.
So, after I got my free beverage I went outside to see if I could find a friend to hang out with. After about 20 failed attempts, I decided to walk back home. As I was standing up I saw my old (and I MEAN old) English teacher who retired at age 75. He taught at my local high school since it was built in 1965! I can't believe he is still alive. He is the most tenacious sap I have ever seen.
Anyway, after my run in with Mr. Reed, I decided to walk home. Half way through I visited a buddy of mine who was gone of course. So, then I walked home, and here I am now...4 miles older.

Haha Renae,
